1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to BidBlock. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BidBlock platform and services operated by Jack Nine Digital LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using BidBlock, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

BidBlock is a cloud-based construction bid estimation platform that enables specialty trade contractors to:

  • Build reusable calculation modules for scope items
  • Create rate cards for labor, material, and equipment pricing
  • Assemble bids from modules organized by unit types
  • Generate professional PDF proposals
  • Manage projects, clients, and team members

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to conduct business on behalf of your company to create an account.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activities under your account, and providing accurate registration information.

3.3 Company Accounts

BidBlock accounts are company-scoped. The account owner can invite team members with varying permission levels (admin, estimator, viewer). The owner is responsible for their team's compliance with these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Upload malicious content or interfere with the service
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Use the service to submit fraudulent bids or misrepresent pricing

5. Your Data

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into BidBlock, including modules, rate cards, bids, project information, and client data. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.2 Data Accuracy

BidBlock provides calculation tools based on the inputs and formulas you configure. We are not responsible for the accuracy of bid amounts, and all estimates should be reviewed by qualified estimators before submission.

5.3 Data Export

You may export your bid data as PDF proposals at any time. Additional export formats may be available.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime.

7. Limitation of Liability

BidBlock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost bids, inaccurate estimates, or business losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
